Car Hit By Falling Tree On I-476 In Delco: Police

A tree fell on a car on Interstate 476, sending one person to the hospital on Thursday morning, July 18, according to state police.

The driver of a Toyota Rav4 was seriously injured, troopers said. Two other cars were struck by debris but no one inside them was injured, authorities added.

I-476 between Route 3 (Marple) and Route 30 (Radnor) was down to one lane of travel as of 12:30 p.m., state police said.
